It's a little quiet here at the Balaz Quarters....Without Ryan it is pretty quiet...He really fills our home up with volume....or is it I am always yelling, because he is a teenager. Well whatever it is I have 5 more sleepness nights in front of me! I will get through them!

It just isn't the same without the two of them talking, bickering laughing, being silly, it just isn't the same!

The boy is headed to Lake arrowhead for Scout camp right now, right now as I am blogging away. I probably wouldn't be blogging at 2:27 am if he wasn't in a car driving and my nerves would settle down....and I could sleep. It's that invisible umbilical cord I am feeling. After all he is my first born! I knew it was coming way back last June when he came home and said he loved it and could not wait to go next year...He had a blast! So I have been preparing for this for a whole year and nope it does not get any easier. Does not get easier no, no, no, it does not! My house will be so quiet. Ryan is always making noise, and I don't mean the noises that are pretty common from thirteen year old boys...Well he makes those too : ) But all his silly songs he sings and the weird vocals he let's out. They actually drive me nuts but right now I would give anything to hear his silliness...But I will have to wait...because he is becoming a man now and that is why he was sent to earth!

I love you Ry. Have a blast and I can't wait to hear all about it when you get home in one week!

The BIG 5-0

Mr. Wonderful turned 50 on Monday and we have celebrating since Friday night...I openend the weekend by making an unbelievable tri tip on the BBQ and having it ready ( this actually is a big deal) when he came through the door...but we still managed to eat late...go figure! Then on Saturday I just hung out and cleaned. Mr. Wonderful loves a clean house, so I thought that is something he will love. Then on Sunday we went and spent the night at the Palazzo and had a lovely dinner at the Grand Lux Cafe...kinda sounds like a coffee shop, but it's not, it's owned by the Cheesecake Factory. We really had alot of fun! Steve even picked up the birthday dinner bill. Finally.... Monday, Steve birthday arrived and we were out all day long, shopping, looking at stuff and just having fun! We came home around 10 pm and let me tell you I was pretty exhausted!
I'm not done yet...Yesterday he took Ryan out golfing and I made his favorite...porkchops and potato salad and the most amazing cake and since I don't have a camera I couldn't take any pixies! Boo hoo I have to get my camera soon! That is another post. Well, we had fun, but now it is time to get backt to work and wait for the next birthday! I will have my camera for that one! The Beeg turns 12!

This week has been a great week. I had to take some time off because of my arm and my back, so I have just rested and did things that normally I am too tired to do or.....moan and groan doing them!

The week started with me having to go home from work sick, after working 7 hrs, because my supervisor Hector wouldn't let me change tables to deal on. WOW...... how sad that you would want to make an employee not want to work for you after 11 year. Oh well his Karma.....OK, yes I am Mormon and I don't believe in Karma, but if I did ; ). So it ended up my arm and my back were both in a horrible way. Off to see my doctor and he put me out for two weeks. Great guy, glad he is my doctor! Good news I am feeling much better in the back area now the shoulder is not ready to be commented on! I go back to work next Wednesday and then I will see how it pans out!

Since being home I was able to catch up on laundry...arm did not really want to feel good doing it but I felt OK with my pain pills. I did a lot of shopping which I should not do but boy did we really need a lot of things. Summer needed clothes, Ry needed shorts and swimming trunks. I needed a few shirts and Steve's birthday is Monday and I picked up his presents! Then groceries I am telling you I will not step into a store for quite awhile.

Thursday Jaci (my oldest niece ) set up a cabana at the Aliante for us. We were all there, Mom, my brother GPJ as the kids call him , Jaci, her daughter Jili, and of course Ryan, Summer and myself. We had a wonderful time, the weather was fantastic and I really rested. A highlight of the summer so far!

Yesterday I had to go to the Venetian to do paperwork and then we went to the scout store to finish up Ryan's uniform, I put on all his patches on his sash and his new shirt. If I say so Ryan is going to be one good looking scout at his Code of Honors!

Now to finish off this weekend, before I go back to work, it is going to be party time. Steve hits the big FIVE-O and I have some fun stuff planned for Mr. Wonderful! With that I will close this post and get ready to post the big 5-0 coming up!

I really never gave much thought to memorial day until my dad died and now it has some meaning to me! My dad served in WWII and was very proud that he did! I want him to know if by chance his spirit is hanging around : ) I am too!

I want to start blogging again...It has been awhile since I have taken this seriously. Because life the past few months has been serious. We have made it through a big move, putting my old dog down, and getting serious about church again...not that we were'nt, just that I let things get in the way of the spirit! Ever since we were robbed life did a spiral on us and I have to say we were pretty depressed for awhile but...this is not an excuse for not wanting to blog I can honestly say I did not want to blog! Ok I said it! Bloggie I am sorry! We are actually doing well and completely happier then we have been in a very long time! So.....let's get to blogging now Cya soon bloggie and my fellow boggers!

We are having a very quiet Easter just hanging out watching conference, baking, cooking and just enjoying the day! It seems to be going very quickly though, and this is really sad because I go back to work tomorrow...I love having 3 day weekends. I will just have to ask for a few more this coming week!
Easter makes me reflect a bit more because it was the last day that I saw my father alive before he died that following friday! I am so glad I had those few moments at the breakfast table, that were all mine with him and that brings a smile to me....I also think to myself has it really been two years since he passed.
Oh oh I forgot yesterday we had the Allens over and what fun we had! Jeannie Allen is the cutest mommy in the world and I love her so much! Sister Allen is also my visiting teacher with Sister Troth and I must say I love the two of them and the love that they share with me!
Jeannie's children are so cute Cameron is 9, Makenna is 6 and Cayson is 3. Cayson is a spitfire and makes us all laugh. A very funny 3 year old!

We are finally in the house and I seem to like it more and more...The kids really like it alot! They are very active here and are outside more then they were ever at the old house..This I really like! It is a pretty easy house to keep clean and I like that! Maybe it is because I got rid of a lot of stuff. What a cleansing process!
This past weekend we bought a new PC. We are so happy that when we type what we need it just pops up! This is pretty SWEET! I really can't wait to start working on my photography again!

The History of Thanksgiving....

"The Pilgrims set sail for America on September 6, 1620, and for two months braved the harsh elements of a storm-tossed sea. Upon disembarking at Plymouth Rock, they held a prayer service and then hastily began building shelters; however, unprepared for such a harsh New England winter, nearly half of them died before spring. Emerging from that grueling winter, the Pilgrims were surprised when an Indian named Samoset approached them and greeted them in their own language, explaining to them that he had learned English from fishermen and traders. A week later, Samoset returned with a friend named Squanto, who lived with the Pilgrims and accepted their Christian faith. Squanto taught the Pilgrims much about how to live in the New World, and he and Samoset helped forge a long-lasting peace treaty between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indians. Pilgrim Governor William Bradford described Squanto as “a special instrument sent of God for [our] good . . . and never left [us] till he died.”

Summer's little hamster died today....It was sad to see my little girl sad, and crying. While I was taking a nap her and Ryan had a small memorial for Baby. I'm glad they are kind kids to each other. Makes me think Steve and I are preparing them for adult life when they show love and concern for each other.
We will probably replace Baby with another little hammy, she has already come up with the name Nibbles! Cute eh?

Hi this is Summer, Susy's daughter, today I have sad sad news..... my hamster"baby" died.
I buried her with her favorite toy. This hamster was not ordinary from the day I got her she has done so many funny things. My dad called her "stinker" because her cage stunk. there are so many fun memories from baby I will miss her. My dad says I can get a new one this Christmas........ I will name it nibbles, but no hamster will match up to baby.

46 days.....

It has been 46 days since I posted....Holy crap that is way past my procrastination limit! In the 46 days we have started school, I have been working a lot, Steve has had his sleep test and has received his cpap and is not snoring any longer, I'm also sleeping better because he is not snoring. We are planning a trip to San Diego to relax and see friends....had the cable completely over hauled, took a few weeks but is worth it. Summer cut her foot and is not going back to dance until November...she healed nicely. My mom and brother were in a pretty strong fender bender, a couple of weeks later, that was scary, but what really was scary, last Sunday we came home from church and our house was broken into and they took all the goodies and the house. All of the electronics are gone which primarily belonged to the kids. When they noticed the Wii was gone it was sad to see my babies crying, this really ticked me off! I felt so violated. Who in the hell did this I hope they needed it all and we were so happy to help them out....Hopefully the Lord will forgive me for the scarcasim but I am still not happy about all of this! I am happy that no one stayed home that day! Ok this might be enough for us you might think but then on Sunday my niece called me and told me she was leaving with my mother from urgent care Molly my mom broke her wrist....Holy cow! all I can say is heaven help us!

We are starting school on Tuesday.....YAY.....Steve and I have been waiting two years for the kids to get on BYU's middle school curriculum, and now it's here! Have we really been homeschooling for two years and are we really on our third year? Where has the time gone? We are so excited....Ryan and Summer are very excited about this also! Thank goodness :)

So here's to another year of education for Ryan and Summer! Go my junior "Cougars"! Have a GREAT year!

I have been in a bit of a funk lately and have not been enjoying life. So much coming at me seems to be the culprit. I know that I am a strong woman but wonder at times like this am I strong enough...The answer is probably I am, because I have the Savior to lean on during these times. I am on my knees pretty often right now...he probably says here she comes again...but smiles as he says that! Knowing that I have a personal relationship with our Savior helps and makes me smile back!
So what is so much on my plate, getting ready for our home school year, looking to redo the house on a tight budget, having inflamed intestines, getting ready to put my two oldest pets down, Snoopy is going on 16 and Mitzi is 18, needing to start exercising and eating better should I go on or are you starting to sympathise with me?
Now your asking what the heck does Harry Potter have to do with this post...Well I will tell ya.
Mr. Wonderful took the kids and I out to see this movie and I had a grand time. I feel so much better...
So then, to tie up this post.....He does listen and answer our prayers......

Ah....A day with the kids....NOT! They are at Grandmas with the other cousin they only have one cousin here in Vegas. Really they only have one cousin there age and she is a second cousin...You can say Steve and I were late bloomers in the getting preggo's department. Now what does the title of my blog post have to do with my opening paragraph...NOTHING....NOTHING at all, just wanted to point out I had a few minutes to myself!

We had the wonderful opportunity to see our little Summer perform for the first time in musical theatre what an experience for us....I was nervous, but knowing Summer and that she really doesn't get nervous it eased me up a little! Steve was very nerved up....but held it together. He had no idea she really has this gift of music, yes he hears her around the house but he was still so surprised.
Summer did an outstanding job and Jared who played Aladdin was equally outstanding! Summer surprised so many with her voice.
Summer we are all so proud of you and can't wait to see more of you on stage.....We love you babes!

On Monday big news came into the Balaz home, my dads wheezing is actually semi serious asthma. When I was in the doctors office with my dad, the doctor asks do you have any animals? My dad says 5. So the doctor says feed your cats to your dogs and feed your dogs to some other animal. Now before you start balling like a baby we are going to try and keep Roxy and Shorty and Lucky. But Snoopy and Mitzi we'll be gone in about 2 to3 months. During the course of this next 6 months we will be getting rid of are couch, painting the interior of are house, tiling our kitchen and office, wood flooring stairs and hallway, carpeting the house, and getting new furniture. (so the next time you come Las Vegas Aunt Cindy come visit our sweet pad). My dad is feeling a lot better after the medication.

I really don't write too much about Summer and it is due time. Summer is the sweetest daughter, she is the perfect fit for me. We have so much fun together....watching her shows, listening to her sing, going to lunch, shopping, even sitting in church is a delight. OH yeah I can't forget snugga buggin....!
Summer is not a child that needs a lot of attention, as a matter of fact she goes in her room with out notice. Later I will have to ask Ryan "Where is Summer"? and it's always..." she is in her room". This has always been her world. This is an example what she must do in her room. I was sitting down stairs and she announces to me that she has learned in English the theme to Ratatouille. To my somewhat surprise she did and she sings it beautifully.
Yesterday she auditioned for a singing and dancing troupe, were waiting for the results...
I also didn't mention she has the lead of Jasmine in the play Aladdin. We are so excited for this. I haven't watched a bit of practice. I just want to be surprised and I know I will probably cry. I'm really very proud of her.
So this is for my Summergirl...who is, for me, the perfect daughter. My Father in Heaven couldn't have given me anyone else to fit the bill!

My Ry is back home I love him, my little man. It was so good to see him...Yep I cried! He hasn't stopped talking about his camping trip! He did say he missed me and he needed to be comforted a few times by his leaders Brother Roberts and Brother Kelly...Shout out to them! He also told me his buddy Caleb was there for him when he was feeling down! All in all I know he had a wonderful time and I am so happy he went! So welcome home Ryan! You were greatly missed!

Well Ryan will be coming home in less then 48 hours so I'm told! The time should fly since Summer has her dance recital rehearsals and the actual performances on Friday and Saturday. I've missed him, but have gotten by, being at work and sleeping....all the other times I think about him and miss him a lot. Since Sunday, it has gotten easier but just writing this gets me weepy eyed :..( I will have to say it was nice not to get on him about stuff. This gives him a break from the pterodactyl voice I usually get when he doesn't get his chores done...This is a relief for him I'm sure. I will be ready to give him the biggest bear hug when he walks through the door and make his favorite dinner on Sunday....until then I will continue to count down till my boy walks through the door safe and sound!!!

It has certainly been awhile since I sat down to write. Not that I haven't wanted to. I have been just incredibly busy. I went back to work, shot a wedding and a boy band, (see last few entries) on top of all my motherly duties. Life just doesn't get any better then this. Oh yes, I forgot, Mr. Wonderful had a birthday on Sunday. I cooked all day long and we all attended our sacrament meeting. Needless to say I have left little bloggie alone far longer then I'd like to.
It doesn't let up either.... Ryan goes to scout camp this Sunday. It has taken quite awhile for him to be ready to want to go. I'm not sure he is ready to venture out, but he is going! Summer has her dance recital on Saturday, which includes a week of rehearsal. Then she has her performance being Jasmine in Aladdin, 2 weeks after that, again I forgot something... she also has an audition for her dance singing team. We are looking at a very busy few weeks!
So I will close with a note to bloggie: I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. You are never forgotten! and for all those that read my blog I don't ever forget about all of you! See you soon!

A long while ago I had this really cool funny, crazy friend named Sabel...We worked together at the Horizon Casino in Lake Tahoe...She shared bits and pieces of her "former" life to me always with the confidence I would not share it. I was told yesterday she passed away April 17 2009 with brain cancer. When I was told to google her I was blown away...I didn't know she was a famous Rockstar groupie...I just thought she knew all these people from her past, living in New York. I might of thought for a minute, when she was sharing her stories with me, she sounded like a groupie. However if you knew Sabel that was just her personality and everyone, especially men liked her..I know I did but I'm a girl. I am sorry we didn't keep in touch. I would of loved to said a proper good bye and told her she was and probably will be always in my heart for the kind person she was to me! So I say to Sabel Starr (aka Sabel Shields) Rock on......

We are taking off to Disneyland on Monday and I am very happy to be getting away...This asthma or whatever I have.... has really got me down. I am hoping the California weather will brighten me up a little bit!
This is our last visit to Disneyland, with the year pass that we bought last year on Steve's bonus monies....We really had a great time, every time, we went down there. My birthday is this Tuesday and we have some wonderful friends coming down to celebrate the magic of 51! What a place to celebrate...it also won't be the first time, I've celebrated my birthday at Disneyland but it will be the first time with my family! I'm sure we will have a great time! Really looking forward to it!
So here's to Mr. Walt Disney for making my dreams come true, and that is, enjoying the smiles of my family and friends, when we all get together this coming week at Walt's dream, Disneyland!

Ryan came home around 9:45 a.m and just woke up 4:30 p.m...I think he did an all nighter at the camp out...What do you think?

It is 3:44 A.M and I can't sleep! Ryan is on his first camp out with the men and boys from the ward. I have completely cleaned out my kitchen, cleaned the floors and now have decided to post to my blog and share this. I miss him so much. Just not having him at home is so very weird to me. To make it worse we are having really strong gusts of winds and he is up in Mt Charleston and we know how the mountains can be. He called at midnight, he said he was getting ready to go to sleep and wanted to make sure we put the dogs away and locked up the house, this is his nightly job. I told him we did and he then went on to tell me that the wind, being out in a tent and in nature was very soothing to him. (I think it is because he was born in Lake Tahoe and it's in his blood) This made me feel better.... I love the mountains so I understand this feeling. However he is not safely tucked in his bed, in his room and it leaves me with an emptiness I can't really explain. Yet I know he is safe and with people he has known since he was 4 years old and they love him. Is this how our Father in Heaven feels? How he trusts me with his spirits ....makes me feel like my calling as a mother to two of his spirits is much more then just making sure all is well...it is much deeper then that. My thoughts at this time turn to the growth I am having as a daughter of God and the trust he has given to me as a mother to Ryan and Summer, as they grow into adult hood.

I have not been blogging lately due to being so sick with bronchitis and then asthma. Even sitting at the computer has been rough. However, I see that Ryan and Summer have been posting again...They are so funny! Ryan is really a blogger at heart. He loves to get comments, especially from his Aunt Cindy and Brit, boy does he love that side of the family..
Now I am back and though I don't download videos for my blogs I will let Ryan keep that responsibility up.
By the way I am FINALLY feeling a little better. I get to go back to work on Monday. That means "Dancing with the Stars" will have to go on without me! and American Idol will just have to be on the DVR for me to watch when I get home from work! Ah...back to my real life!

No vanity involved on my end....... please! Okay a little, I don't think I look 51 years old! After what I went through last night at two in the morn, I needed a little fun time for me! Brit asked a few weeks ago for her readers to write about their engagements....Now I thought it would be fun to do this today because it was 14 years ago in April we got engaged. It was a Sunday and we were just lounging around and reading the paper. I was looking at the Macy's page and found this ring that I liked and though I'd done this before with out any response, I showed him the ring. With complete surprise, he said he liked the ring also, and we could drive out to Reno, to take a look at it the next day. I could not not sleep that whole night! Now if your wondering why I couldn't sleep, Mr. Wonderful and I had been together for 6 years, so you probably now can understand my excitement!
The next day as promised we went to see "the ring"! To my disappointment it looked better in the paper :..( Now this is one of the reasons he is Mr. Wonderful....he rarely disappoints. He said "Let's keep looking". In my mind I kept thinking, is this it, are we really going to get engaged???
We looked at every jewelery store in the mall and I kept going back to this ring! It was perfect for me. It looked good on my sausage ring finger and it had a lot of sparkle. (This was before the word bling was generating around!) I loved it! It was then he said this is the one, wrap it up! However it needed to be sized and we would have go back and get it!
Two days later we went back to Reno (had to pick up the ring) and at the cheesiest Chinese food, "The Golden Chopsticks" restaurant (Hey they had good food!) he popped the question, by starting out with promises that he would be a good husband, provider and he would always take care of me. Then he finished up by saying "Susan Marie Chavarria will you marry me? With tears just as big as crocodiles and really with my breath taken away, I said "YES"!!
May I say 14 years later he has more then made good on his promises and he still takes my breath away....especially when he makes me laugh oh and that other thing too! :)

I have been home this week feeling rather unhealthy keep getting these nose bleeds and my blood pressure is a bit high. Went to the Doctor and said "it could be a few things" which always makes you feel good doesn't it? But the meds are working and lowering it! I think these blasting winds and high pollen count certainly don't help. Okay so you get the picture it has been a crappy week! Until Thursday. Mr Wonderful came home and said are you feeling well enough to go out on Friday?? All I could muster up was "OUT you mean a date night". Just those words made me feel almost better. I was pretty happy! Mr. Wonderful, than said that he had tickets to the Bette Midler show at Caesars! I was pretty jazzed.
So with a wad of tissues in hand ( don't forget those nose bleeds) Mr Wonderful and I went out on this amazing date.
Miss Divine was great and very funny, crude but funny! I needed to go out and laughed especially with the hubby! After the show we went to a deli at Caesars, watched people, ate a great sandwich (As I write this I am still full!) and enjoyed the hubby's company. SO hat's off to date night it was "fabulous" as the Divine miss M would say!

*****(I wrote this last year right after I found out that my father had passed away in his sleep He was almost 85 years old and was not sick really, just getting old. I read this again after I wrote my last post and thought I would include on this day.)****

Death is a funny thing...

I am writing this just a few hours after learning that my Dad died, I want to cry, I want to laugh but most of all I want to remember his love! He was always holding my hand when I went to see him which was very few times in the past year. It was so hard to see him he didn't smell good and he was actually not the dad that I remembered. However he was my dad and I am glad I saw him on Easter Sunday. I told him he looked liked Howard Hughes because his fingernails grew out very long and he had a scruffy face but he had showered and he was clean so I kissed "Howard" bye thinking I would go and see him again soon. However soon will never be and for this I am a bit sad. The kids at least got to see there grandfather one last day. For this I am happy! Death is a funny thing! One minute you are sad the next thing is you have a smile on your face over some silly times. I'll write more later, Its time to cry!

1 Year....

Has it really been 1 year since my dad passed to the other side....Has it really been 1 year since I have seen all of my family. Dad would be really proud of us for moving on, as my nephew says, but he would also be proud that we cherish him so much and think of him so dearly.
My mom has done so well this year. She was always independent and I really think that it has paid off emotionally for her! Yes she has her days, we all know that, but she is our rock and I love her for being that way! Molly is one brave and strong woman! I love you mom!
So here's to you dad...Keep the party rocking till we all get to see you again. I love and miss you with all my heart!

The Priesthood

Sunday marked a very special day in our family. Ryan was ordained a deacon in our church! This is pretty significant in the Balaz family. I believe that Ryan is the first priesthood holder in the Balaz family. I know in my heart that he was pre ordained to have this bestowed upon him at this time. (I will address this in the blog about my dad passing away 1 year ago!) We are grateful for having the Bishop of our ward take care of this for us. Steve went to church sunday to support Ryan. I have a wonderful husband and I'm grateful for all the love and support he gives to us.
I'm so grateful that Ryan takes this very serious and loves the Lord. He has always been a special boy and he touches those around him with his thoughtful ways and caring personality.
Nope I would'nt trade him for all tea in china...that's right we don't drink tea...ok maybe not all the gold in the world, because I have the perfect gold nugget in him! I love you Ryan!

It's very quiet in my house right now, and I am enjoying it so much. I realize that it is 10 in the morning and the kids should be up, but I am letting them sleep in. To home school means your around them all the time. So once in awhile I play the great mom by letting them sleep in. When really, it is so I can just have a quiet house.....to be still, pray, and think!

I always read This very funny blog ^^^^^^She has her stuff together and I admire it all.. She gave some examples of how her life runs in today's post and it got me thinking. Yes I do think from time to time. However when I reached the big 5-0 and realized life is getting pretty much past the middle (even if they say 50 is the new40). I knew, that I had better give up on trying to be a perfect mom and wife, a least by my standards, of what I believe (the women) I see around me, and just be me. With that I took note of the fact we really have a great little set up, my family of four! Here is a list of things that bugged me( that I wanted to be perfect at)....But I said I'm letting go of these things.

1. Bed Time: No we don't put kids to bed at 6....(I'm not judging) we let them get tired and hang with us. Always have and always will. Ryan has learned so much about politics by staying up with his dad and watching Anderson Cooper, the Fox channel, CNN and every other show that interests Steve. ( He has his masters in Sociology). I really feel that Ryan communicates with us, because he is given every chance to share his opinions out loud with us!

2. Being a perfect mother: When the kids were very small, I just wanted to do all those things other moms did and not my mom. I was the last one born in the family (3 kids, oldest is 13 years older then me, and next one is 8 years older then me) so... I missed out on all those snow trips to the mountains, great family trips, mom cooking at home all the time, (she started working), cookies baking at Christmas, helping in the class....you know all that stuff. * Wait I better note* I have an amazing mom and she did help out at school. Molly even did the 8th grade trip to Sacramento the state capital!
So I'm thinking I "have" to be a mom of service. However.... it fricking "STRESSED" me out! I would sometimes turn into this really raging mom. I was trying to do all this stuff. Now I home school! I still get hard on myself and do the raging thing now and again, but now I'm learning to let it go, because I realized it is so not worth it! I have great kids, they really do their best and they are smart. Heck that is why I home school them.

3. The Husband: Now how Mr.Wonderful and I get along....hmmmm. We just do. This is how I see it. He loves me for me, even if I drive him batty from time to time. I watch a lot and I mean a lot of football even in the off season. This helps. I really like that he plays golf and is out of the house. Oh I mean out getting his exercise. He is also taking the boy now. Summer loves this because she likes girl time. I can't blame her! Today he woke up looking for the remote in our room and couldn't see it...(right under his nose)....I found it, but he was in major crank mode now....So I snuggled his neck and made some suggestions in his ear ( come on girls figure this one out) he smiled and happily left for work. As I said we just get a long! I am by all means not the perfect wife, but to be truthful I'm perfect for Mr. Wonderful and he's perfect for me!

I have not posted in quite awhile. Well not a post about all my daily goodies in life . Not that it has not been eventful. I had Pneumonia and since then my blood sugars started going nuts. I will have to go to an endocrinologist and I don't know if I will have to get insulin or not. I will be getting a blessing tomorrow and go with my faith that I will get better from all of this. Enough of this I'm so tired of dealing with this.

On a much better note I finally went back to church today. I missed all those little ones in the nursery. I really enjoy my calling. We had over 20 kids in there today! We have a lot of nursery help which is nice! I love the new manual it is great for the little ones!
Speaking of little ones Ryan is going for his priesthood interview with the Bishop on Wednesday. It is amazing how time flies. I remember when he started primary. WOW! I'm grateful he has great leaders right now and that he really loves Young Mens. This is such a blessing to me. He is such a great kid!

When I was a little girl, very little, I loved this little guy. I can actually remember watching the Ed Sullivan show and looking forward to him being on..I would get so excited! I was running around Facebook and found this site that was about him! It brought a smile to my face and some very special memories of my mom and dad calling me to the t.v. to watch this little guy!
