I have had a very busy week. Doctor visits for my injuries and physical therapy can really be time consuming and it makes for a week I need to blog about.
Sunday was an amazing Mothers day Summer brought me breakfast in bed, have you ever had celery in mini omelets? Just wondering! Church was fun they gave us M&M's. We were told to add an o in the middle and it spells mom! Relief Society was nice due to the bishop coming in and giving a mothers pep talk. I really loved it.
Monday we celebrated my 50th birthday at the Cheesecake Factory and boy did we have fun. We think Ryan had the most fun. We really went all out. Lettuce wraps, avocado egg rolls, and pellegrino water started us off for appetizers. Yum. Then we had our main courses. Ryan had scampi and salmon, Steve and I both had the steak Diane and the salmon and the little missy had her fav spaghetti and red sauce. Dinner was scrumptious! Then birthday dessert was incredible. We had fancy cake since it was my birthday and Summer was the only one who ordered cheesecake and it was amazing. I wished I would have thought of that. I mean we were at the cheesecake factory! Go figure.
Then we had eye appointments to see how blind we really are. Good thing were not. Summer has always been bad at wearing glasses it really bites at her vanity. Oh my she is only 9. But since she started wearing them again. She has been telling me it is the inside that counts. I reassure her that she is so cute with her glasses. But I also tell her pretty is what pretty does.
Then Saturday I had a photo shoot with the Allen family... what fun. Jay graduated from UNLV with his MBA and Jeannie wanted family pictures so we traded, art lessons for a photo session.
I also made it to physical therapy for my right hand and to the doctor so they can start treating me for my shoulder and left wrist. The doctor that I went to, thinks it is my rotater cuff. So tomorrow I go for an MRI.
Monday was my dads birthday and it bothered me a bit, because last year my family and I were really not communicating and I missed his last birthday here on earth. However I did think of him quite a bit on Monday and am content now! Prayer is a calming source in my life.
Tuesday I finally got together with my family for my birthday dinner of Pork noodles. My brother makes the best pork noodles. The girls made me cupcakes and the whole evening was very nice.
I know this is kinda jumbled up, but I had to get it written anyway it fell out of my brain.
Enjoy the pics...... I love the one of my 80 year old mom on the computer playing a game!
