SO CAL

....May I first start my blog by saying I hate that saying "So Cal"..... But it is too long to write Southern California in my blog!

May I also start with a shout out to my friend Cindy...You are such an amazing woman to me....from are little lives of Young Adults, stake dances, church camps, firesides, trips to the beach, phone calls when you worked at Fashion Island,( when you would be bored to tears), water polo, koala, boys, your VW wagon...... oh so many things. But now we are these moms with daughters and sons, pretty terrific husbands, houses (yours is the Mexican Villa) cars that zip us around (okay yours a BMW) and lives that are not all that bad.....I love you with all my heart and I love that you love my children with all your heart! Yes I'm weeping.

Back to the So Cal.......We arrived at Disneyland and burned it out till closing. We had so much fun! We first ventured on the Pirates of the Carribean and waited in line for about 45 min. Being from So. Cal that was too long for me, but I did it with the fam...Ryan and Summer love that ride and were anxious to get on it, till we were right there and you could see Ry was getting nervous. He really is like me in so many ways! We then did Haunted House, Nemos sub ride, really wanted to go on It's a Small World. You know a little girls memories stay with her even if she is 50 yrs old :). Boo Hoo closed. However I settled for Mr. Toads wild ride another one that was from my childhood. But I have to tell you, this was the first time I didn't go on the Dumbo ride. Ryan and Summer stood in line for it, while Steve and I waited and had some laughs on the side lines. We were reflecting on the fact that we don't have to go on those "baby rides". Now I write that with the deepest affection though.
I will finish this up later but had to get some of this posted.

I'm so sad I wasn't there to play in California with you all. I'm glad you had fun (and got lots of cute photos)!
