Heard it through the grapevine.....

Young mother of four at the museum today:

Mother to

Child #1 "What did you see today?" "I saw dinosaurs"

Child #2 "I saw lions that go growl!"

Child # 3 "Snakes!"

Child # 4 Rubbing her tummy, looking out to child abyss, walking aimlessly far behind the others...."I'm hungry."

Chuckle for the day!

As for us we had a great time!

We have passes to go to The New England Aquarium, and I think we're going to go there next Thursday. I've been saving these passes (which I won through a local radio station, by the way! :) for a special occasion, and I told my husband last night that I've decided I want to go there for my birthday! :) I think it's appropriate for a Cancer to want to commune with ocean animals, don't you think? ;)

Glad you and your brood had such a good time, Sus.

I hope you have a wonderful time.Getting out yesterday was really fun.
HOWEVER.................
I think I'm having some, out in the sun too much anger creeping up in me. I have been a bit....cranky! Poor kids. I am having them doing cleaning chores right now. I'm feeling like a creep because I hate when I am mean spirited! Now the husband is home and hopefully in a good mood.
Hey thanks for listening!

I've been cranky 'cause of the heat here, too. I haven't been sleeping well, either, which doesn't help.

Don't feel like a creep for getting your kids to pitch in and help. You're teaching those boys valuable lessons about picking up after themselves. I think that's extremely important.

Hope you're doing better today, Mama! :)

I wish we had a muesuem like that...or an aquarium... I suppose maybe I can save up and greyhound to Chicago though.

Dropping off hugs for the grouchies. I hate having 'em too.

C- is Cancer a water sign?

Yes, Erica... Cancer's a DEFINITE water sign. We're the "wateriest" of them all! (Well, besides Pisces, of course). I think we're the sign that has the most affinity to the ocean/water, though.
