It's 88 degrees in Las Vegas and I am thinking about Lake Tahoe!

Anyone who has ever been to Vegas 88 degrees is pretty nice for September 1st. We have a cooling system going through and I love it! It just feels so different then 110'. However this summer did not seem to get as hot as many other summers here in the valley. I love it! Oh did I mention that already.....I really can't wait until the fall. We do get a bit of the change of weather. Nothing like Gardnerville ( where I used to live for more then half my life ) But it will do. It is this time of year I miss living up north. Before I lived in Gardnerville, I lived in Lake Tahoe, which is the most amazing place on this continent...The Lake is so beautiful with its changing colors as you get to the center from light blue to a deep dark blue in the center. I don't believe I mentioned the deep sunsets which can be an array of colors, from deep reds and oranges to the deepest purples and magenta's. I kid you not, the sunsets are delight to any eyes that feast upon them!

Hi Suzy! I think there is no place on Earth like Lake Tahoe. My family and I live just down the road a bit (near Sacramento) and we love to take day trips to Tahoe. We always come home feeling so refreshed!

BTW - I followed your blog from Don's and Mama C's hope you don't mind.

On of my bestest girl friends in the entire world used to live in Las Vegas. She used to hate dealing with the heat. The first place she took her hubby when they moved to Reno? Lake Tahoe....

It's a small world.
