Halloween 08

I'm going to post my Halloween blog before my Disney trip so I can feel somewhat doing my blog on time again!
We had a great night and really enjoyed every minute of it. Every year Ryan always exclaims this was the best Halloween ever! This year I let them go together, without me, while I stayed at home and passed out candy! I was bit mindful of them being on there own without me, but it was really great! I turned on fun Halloween music, picked up my house, lit candles, and really enjoyed myself! But after 20 mins I was having the "Where are my babies feeling" then the doorbell rang and there they were! This was an instant feeling of relief! They are getting to be so independent, yet still so dependent, that I have to get used to letting them go from the nest for a few minutes at a time! Without me! I am so grateful that they rely on each other for almost everything. This gives me confidence that when they go out they will be responsible for each other!
We ended up at my moms after we went out. My brother was passing out the candy, which was my dads favorite thing to do. The last few years he had a Rastafarian hat with dreads and all and I have to admit I missed seeing him! That silly old daddy of mine. He loved all the kids that came by, but especially loved seeing mine all dressed up every year. It kinda wasn't the same without him! Wish I had a pic of him with that hat on!
I really am glad we moved to Las Vegas 10 years ago. So many memories.........
