The Temple and Christmas tides

Today I had the chance to get away and go to the temple. Boy it is always what I need when I go, maybe I should go more often. I hadn't gone since before my surgery. I am in some sorts glad I waited. Shoulder surgery is not conducive to attending a session, to say the least! I enjoyed my time just driving up to the temple. I put on the radio station that is playing Christmas music and enjoyed that without hearing silly versions of what songs are playing at the time! My kids are so clever with making up words to whatever song is on at the time!
Speaking of the kids....(when don't I) They have persuaded me to put up my Christmas decorations outside and inside! If I weren't getting the carpets cleaned on Tuesday I would probably break down and let them put up the tree! It's great though Ryan is really into it and puts up everything, so I don't really do too much anymore. He is a strapping boy with strength beyond his years!
