Veterans Day!

I am doing this post kinda late but I wanted to honor all those soldiers out there that have died for are freedom! I have a nephew that was just sworn into the marines. We are always thinking of him while he is doing boot camp! I hope by the time he is done with camp and all his training he won't be in danger of going into war. This is my prayer!
I also wanted to remember my dad who died this year and was a WWII vet. He served with the Navy Coast Guards and was on a ship as the ships barber. He was also courting (through letters) this really cute girl from Arizona named Molly. Without even one date he came home and eloped with her in the fall of 1944, she had just turned 17 years old. They would have celebrated there 64th wedding anniversary this past September but he passed away in March!
So this is for you Daddy!
