I don't remember saying come on cold, you are welcome into my home. Just close the door behind you...Really I did not invite him in. I know better than that. After all it is Christmas week! Come on......
I have not been sick since the beginning of the year. So would'nt you know it, Summer comes down with a sore throat and I'm thinking it's allergies, but NO it turns into the full on cough and sore throat! So last night as I was going through my emails I start feeling it and this morning when I woke up, I felt like a sick ol' mom who knows, life does not stop because I'm sick....with knowing that I went to church hoping that I would get the inspiration I will need for this week! I made it to sacrament and then came home! I was feeling horrible. : (
Now we all know it is Christmas week and I am really done with Christmas. I decided 2 weeks ago that what I have bought for everyone is plenty and if I missed something we can get it after Christmas. So I have almost all presents wrapped and all goodies bought for stockings. With that, I will get lots of rest, sit with a book, make a little more rocky road fudge, and enjoy the Christmas spirit!
I wish you all who stop by, a Merry Christmas! May you take a few minutes for yourself and sit by your tree and smile, for we are celebrating our Saviors birth!

Merry Christmas to you too and hope you feel better before Thursday!!
I second that motion. I want my cold to go home too. The stuffy nose and cough I can totally do without. I have A LOT to get done before Thursday and all I want to do is sleep, which is where I'm headed now!
Ugh yucky. I had the flu for a week after Thanksgiving. He did not get an invite either. Sicknesses are impolite like that! ;O)
Merry Christmas to you too!
