Pneumonia are you kidding me?

For the last few weeks, actually since Christmas I have felt not right, very tired, lethargic and really not myself! I thought it was just the Christmas madness and then getting back to work and working those crazy hours. You know 8pm to 2am. But after having 3 days off last weekend I was still pooped, very tired. In fact if I didn't have such a kind and wonderful son my house would look like a flop house. He was on top of everything. I think the most I did last week was make them lunch and dinner and that took all of it out me.
Then when it was time to go back and start my work week, I couldn't! I was too tired to go and take a shower, so I ended up calling in all week. By Friday I decided to call the Doctor. Of course they couldn't get me in and I would have to be a walk in the next day. I woke up at 7:30 and scurried off at 8:o5. I wasn't seen until 9:25. They did all that triage stuff and stuck me in a room. About a minute later the nurse comes in and says the Doctor wants an X ray. Well a bit later the Doctor comes back and says "You have Pneumonia"....That's when I said "Pneumonia, are you kidding me? He went through all the symptoms and I had 8 out of twelve. I'm sure glad he was very insightful and knew what the heck to look for. He put me on some heavy duty antibiotics and cough syrup to get the junk out, which by the way I am really not too congested.
Now it's been about 24 hours since I started these super pills and I have already done 2 loads of laundry and the dishes. I think I am on the mend! I will take it easy because I do want to get better! and after reading up on Pneumonia, it's a smart thing to do!

Maybe I need to go do that. I have been sick for two weeks and think I have now really hurt my right side from coughing so much. I'm glad you are on the mend!
