What a day....

This morning I woke up ready to start my day, after all it is pay day and I had a lot of things to do!
Pay bills, grocery shop, shop for Ryan's birthday present and go to the doctor. Small glitch. Opened my check and it was a whopping $22.77. My first thought was what the ^%#$ went wrong? Then I looked and what I saw shocked me. They took out all of the money owed from my life insurance and long term disability. When I went out on work mans comp they said all would be taken care of. So you can see how I felt inside, after all I knew that I needed to do with my check. I managed to get it together and go and speak to someone in benefits. Unis was very understanding and went to battle for me. It took an hour but she fixed it. Thank goodness!

In the mean time Ry and Summer were in the car waiting for me. They were fine, water and Ritz crackers were at hand and I told them I would be back after this was settled. Well I get back to my car still feeling not right and I saw two security officers at my car. Oh my gosh I panicked. They read me the riot act about leaving my kids in the car and if it happened again they would call Metro...Like I needed to hear this, after all I just went through. According to Metro they are old enough to be in the car. I was very happy to hear that. Thank goodness! So after all of this we did what every woman would do come home and eat chocolate!
