I am on the bandwagon getting Ryan and Summer back to summer school. I really am going to try to get there math skills above the mark this summer. They both have above average reading skills, however I need to bring back some writing workshops. We have not done much writing in the past few months. I believe that writing is essential part of homeschooling. We will be writing letters to family, to companies and journaling. We then will be back to writing stories. This is my schedule that we will follow the next four weeks. I am sure that they are more excited about this then life itself.

How do I get on the letter writing list? I would love to be included. I am a really good letter writer. Emma says to tell Summer she'd write back.
They may not be thankful now, but I'm sure they'll appreciate it as they grow older. And hey... part of being a GOOD mom is giving your kids some "tough love" once in awhile (in my opinion... oh no, wait... that's Don's gig! :)
